A broken back …

… but when using the phrase to mean we've more or less "cracked" the note-learning stage of the B minor, then it's probably rather a better thing then the life-threatening injury it implies!!

After more than 50 minutes in a very cold Holy Trinity Church this evening, the tenors and basses rejoined the sops and altos in the comfort of the Church Hall to put together the very long, and taxing confiteor movement.

A good evening's work - even if half the choir had to sight-read the Osanna. By next week we will have covered everything - but I really DO urge members to put in some time, doing their "homework"!
